Cause and Effect:
These linking words show that one idea is the result of another.
Examples:
Therefore: She didn’t study for the exam. Therefore, she failed.

Addition:
These linking words are used to add more information to the sentence.
Examples:
In addition: The book was interesting. In addition, it was very informative.
Moreover: The food was delicious. Moreover, the service was excellent.
Giving examples:
These linking words introduce examples or clarify a point.
Examples:
For example: There are many countries that speak Spanish. For example, Spain and Mexico.
