Instructions: Listen carefully and write down what you hear. Your teacher will read the passage aloud.

(Teacher’s Script – 15 Sentences):

Last year, I studied abroad in Canada for one semester.

My university offered a scholarship, so I decided to apply.

When I told my parents, they said it was a great opportunity.

They also reminded me to prepare for cultural differences.

Before I left, my professor explained the Canadian curriculum to me.

He said it would be more discussion-based and student-centered.

I was excited, but I also felt nervous about leaving home.

During the first week, I experienced a bit of cultural shock.

People spoke quickly, and I didn’t always understand everything.

However, my classmates were friendly and helped me adjust.

I quickly learned to manage my time and became more independent.

My host family said they were impressed by how open-minded I was.

I preferred learning in a more interactive environment.

Now I recommend studying abroad to all my friends.

It was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.
