Dictation B1 – New Job

Last week, I applied for a new job at a marketing company.

I saw the advertisement online and thought it sounded perfect for me.

The company is looking for someone with strong communication skills and experience in sales.

I have worked in sales for five years, mostly in retail and customer service.

During that time, I learned how to deal with clients and solve problems quickly.

I also gained experience in using marketing tools and writing promotional content.

Before I applied, I updated my CV and wrote a cover letter.

In the letter, I explained why I was interested in the position and what I could bring to the team.

Two days later, I received a phone call from the HR manager.

She invited me to come in for an interview this Thursday.

I was very excited but also a little nervous.

Since then, I have been preparing by reading about the company and practicing interview questions.

I really hope they offer me the job because it matches my skills and career goals.

If I get the position, I will start next month.

It would be a great opportunity to grow professionally.
