My Best Friend

My best friend’s name is Sofia. She is twelve years old and lives on my street. We go to the same school and are in the same class. Sofia is very kind and always helps people. She is funny too and makes me laugh every day. She has long brown hair and green eyes. She usually wears jeans and a T-shirt

Sofia and I do many things together. We walk to school every morning and talk about our favorite cartoons. After school, we often do our homework at my house. Sometimes we play video games or listen to music. On Fridays, we go to the park and eat ice cream. Sofia loves soccer and plays with the local girls’ team. I like watching her matches on Saturdays.

She is a great student and works hard in all her subjects. Her favorite subject is English because she likes reading stories. She is good at drawing and makes nice birthday cards for our classmates. Sofia is also friendly with everyone in the class. The teachers say she is polite and helpful. At break time, she always shares her snacks. I feel lucky to have a friend like her.

I can tell Sofia anything, and she always listens. When I feel sad or tired, she cheers me up. Last week, she gave me a small gift when I was sick. It was a drawing of us at the park. I keep it in my notebook. We never argue and always have fun together. I hope we stay best friends for a long time.
