(Teacher’s Script – 15 Sentences):
Last year, I studied abroad in Canada for one semester.
My university offered a scholarship, so I decided to apply.
When I told my parents, they said it was a great opportunity.
They also reminded me to prepare for cultural differences.
Before I left, my professor explained the Canadian curriculum to me.
He said it would be more discussion-based and student-centered.
I was excited, but I also felt nervous about leaving home.
During the first week, I experienced a bit of cultural shock.
People spoke quickly, and I didn’t always understand everything.
However, my classmates were friendly and helped me adjust.
I quickly learned to manage my time and became more independent.
My host family said they were impressed by how open-minded I was.
I preferred learning in a more interactive environment.
Now I recommend studying abroad to all my friends.
It was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.
