A Day at the Zoo

Last Saturday, Anna and her family went to the zoo. It was a sunny day, and they were all very excited. They arrived at 10 a.m. and bought their tickets at the entrance. First, they visited the monkeys. The monkeys were funny and jumped from tree to tree. Anna laughed a lot.

Next, they saw the elephants. There were three big elephants. One of them was eating leaves with its long trunk. Anna took a photo. Then, they went to see the lions. The lions were sleeping in the sun. They looked peaceful but strong.

At 1 p.m., the family had lunch at a small café inside the zoo. Anna ate a sandwich and drank some juice. After lunch, they watched a penguin show. The penguins swam fast and played in the water.

In the afternoon, Anna visited the souvenir shop. She bought a small toy giraffe. It was a perfect day, and Anna was very happy. She wants to go back to the zoo next month.
